Bringing your dog

We are very pleased to be able to welcome you with your dog. There are a few rules which are for the benefit of all based on our experiences with visiting dogs in the past.

Numbers – The maximum number of dogs staying inside the barn is two. If you are able to keep your dogs in your vehicle outside you may bring more providing you have discussed this with us first.

Behaviour – Your dog MUST be under complete control in the presence of the livestock and horses which are all around the area. Dogs must not be left unattended in the accommodation or surrounding property.

Extra charges – For all dogs which sleep or visit inside the accommodation there is a one off extra charge of £10.00 per dog. This is to cover the inevitable extra cleaning. We will invoice you for this for payment upon arrival and you should settle up straight away please.

Sleeping arrangements – Please use your own dog beds and preferably a dog crate. In any case you must ensure that your dog does not UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

Poo – All dog poo must be bagged straight away and the bag disposed in the black bag general rubbish bin out by the gate. You will need to provide your own poo bags.

Clean and dry – Please make sure your dog is clean and dry when it comes in from outside – we have extra dog towels if you need them. You may use the stables in the parking area if you need to clean them down before they come in.

Make sure, please, too,

Dog walks – There are extensive and happy dog walking opportunities all around – for example in the forest where it is often possible to run free, along footpaths and tracks or at the seaside which isn’t that far away. (There are some restrictions on some beaches in the summer. Check before planning a visit). We are happy to point you in the right direction.

Thank you.
